How to Perform Bulk Verifications on AkibaOne

Introduction


AkibaOne’s bulk verification feature allows you to validate multiple contacts efficiently. This guide explains how to import contacts via CSV and run verification checks (e.g., KYC, phone number, AML/PEP, or bank account validation) in bulk.


Steps for Bulk Verification

1. Access the Verifications Dashboard

  • Log in to your AkibaOne account.

  • Navigate to the Verifications Dashboard (found in the main menu).


2. Import Contacts

  1. Click the Import Verifications Button

    • Locate and select the Import Verifications button (at the top-right of the dashboard).

  2. Download the Sample CSV Template

    • Download the sample CSV file to review the required format. Ensure your data matches this structure to avoid errors.

  3. Select whether you would like to do a bulk verification for individuals or businesses.
  4. Prepare Your CSV File

    • File Requirements:

      • Maximum file size: 25 MB.

      • Only CSV format is supported.

  5. Upload Your CSV File

    • Click Upload Data File and select your prepared CSV.

  6. Configure File Settings

    • Select Encoding Format: Choose the correct encoding (e.g., UTF-8).

    • Choose Delimiter: Specify the delimiter used in your CSV (e.g., comma, tab, or semicolon).

    • Name Structure: Indicate whether names are in a single field (e.g., “John Doe”) or split into separate fields (e.g., “John” and “Doe”).

    • Header Row: Confirm if the first row contains headers.

  7. Map CSV Fields to AkibaOne Fields

    • Match your CSV columns to the correct AkibaOne fields (e.g., map “Phone” to “Phone Number”).

  8. Select how you would like to handle duplicates.
  9. Submit Import Request

    • Click Submit to upload your contacts.

    • Note: Processing may take a few minutes. Refresh the dashboard to check the status.


3. Run Bulk Verifications

  1. Select Contacts

    • From your imported contacts, select the ones you want to verify (use checkboxes).

  2. Choose Verification Types

    • Select one or more verification types:

      Verification Type Cost (per contact) Description
      Basic KYC 13 credits Validates ID, contact, and address details.
      Phone Number 9 credits Confirms phone number validity and ownership.
      Company Registration 3 credits Verifies business registration numbers.
      AML/PEP (Individual) 2 credits Checks individuals for suspicious transactions or politically exposed persons.
      AML/PEP (Business) 2 credits Flags businesses linked to fraudulent activities.
      Bank Account 17 credits Validates bank account details against provided information.
  3. Ensure they are no missing fields.

  4. Review Credits

    • A summary will display the total credits required based on the number of contacts and selected verifications.

  5. Confirm and Submit

    • Double-check the details and credit consumption.

    • Click Submit to start the verification process.


What Happens Next?

  • Verifications are processed in the background.

  • Results will update in the Verifications Dashboard. Filter by status (e.g., “Verified,” “Pending,” “Failed”).

  • Failed verifications may require manual review or corrected data.

  • Test First: Run a small batch to ensure your CSV format and mappings are correct.

  • Track Credits: Bulk verifications consume credits quickly. Monitor your balance under Account Settings.

  • Save Templates: Reuse CSV templates for future imports to save time.
