How to Configure Your Application Widget on AkibaOne

Introduction

AkibaOne’s Application Widget allows you to embed customizable forms on your website to collect and verify user data (e.g., for onboarding, transactions, or registrations). This guide explains how to configure the widget’s settings, appearance, and functionality.

Steps to Configure the Application Widget

1. Access the Application Widget Section

  • Log in to your AkibaOne account.

  • Navigate to Application Widget (located in your account’s Settings or Integrations menu).

2. Configure Widget Type

  • Select the Target Audience for your form:

    • Individuals: For personal accounts or consumer-facing services.

    • Businesses: For corporate registrations or entity verification.

    • Both: Enable fields for individuals and businesses (users can toggle between options).

3. Add Application Steps

  1. Click Add Application Step.

  2. Choose Fields:

    • Prepopulated Fields: Select from AkibaOne’s default options (e.g., name, phone number, ID verification).

    • Custom Fields: Create unique fields (e.g., “Membership ID” or “Service Type”) by clicking Create Custom Field.

  3. Arrange steps in your preferred order using drag-and-drop.

Note: Use clear labels for custom fields to avoid confusion.

4. Set Funding Rules (Optional)

  • Enable Amount Limits to restrict transaction values:

    • Set Minimum and Maximum funding/transaction amounts.

    • Example: Limit donations to 100–100–500 per transaction.

5. Customize Appearance

  1. Color Settings:

    • Match your brand by adjusting colors for buttons, headers, and backgrounds.

  2. Screen Percentage:

    • Define how much of the user’s screen the widget occupies (e.g., 80% for desktop, 95% for mobile).

Pro Tip: Use neutral colors for backgrounds and contrasting colors for buttons to improve readability.

6. Generate and Embed the Widget

  1. Click Copy Embed Code to generate a unique code snippet.

  2. Paste the code into your website’s HTML (e.g., in a landing page, checkout section, or registration portal).

Note: Test the widget on your site to ensure it displays correctly.

What Happens Next?

  • The widget becomes live on your website once embedded.

  • Monitor submissions and verification statuses in the Contacts Dashboard.

  • Adjust configurations anytime by revisiting the Application Widget section.
